The NMA was created to assist the multifamily housing industry by providing vocational training and certification programs to fill key maintenance roles in the state of Nebraska. Our mission is to offer training to any individual who desires a meaningful career. Through our industry partners, the NMA strives to offer training and career resources, at no or little cost to the students.
The program is designed for an on-site practicum. This will provide students with additional hands-on training to increase competency and confidence.

Classes run Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The 2026 Class cohorts will begin as follows:
January 12th, 2026
March 30th, 2026
June 15th, 2026
September 21st, 2026
Attendance is vital in this fast-paced program. Anyone missing more than 2-days will not be able to complete the program.
Each topic covered will have a hands-on, scenario based quiz along with a written test. Any score below a 60% will need to be submitted for a retest. Students will be given 2 attempts to retake tests. Scores will be recorded as pass or fail
Our facility has been designed with the learner and their individual learning style in mind. We have a large classroom equipped with monitors and an interactive whiteboard to review the curriculum.
