About Us

The mission of the Nebraska Maintenance Academy is to educate and place professionals in the maintenance  industry by developing and enhancing the skills necessary for career advancement.

As a 501c3, we strive to give back to our community.  The majority of our NMA students are displaced workers or have been working in a position where the pay is below the median livable wage.  We believe that with the training and support we provide, the NMA will be able to make a positive impact on our student's lives.

The NMA offers vocational training to any individual who desires a meaningful career change.

We provide educational training, resources, and certification for the Nebraska maintenance prospective and current workforce.

Upon successful completion of the program, we will host a career fair where you can meeting with hiring employers. This is what differentiates NMA from other vocational training; namely, While not guaranteed, the NMA is confident that a very high percentage of our graduates will get well-paying jobs with good benefits.

Each student is put through a 12-week intensive training.

8-week classroom hands-on training covering the following topics to achieve certification level:

•Drywall & Carpentry •Appliance Repair •Tile & Flooring •Pool Maintenance

•Electric •HVAC •Plumbing •OSHA

4-week onsite paid practicum will cover the following:

•Turns/Make Ready •Customer Service •Work Orders

•Workshop Safety •Grounds work •Employer Expectations
